1. Inside SendGrid's Design Editor, go to the left-side panel and select the 'Tags' tab.

2. Browse the list and choose the variable you want to use. Click the 'Copy' button next to it.

3. Following that, go to the preview area and select the text module you want to edit.

4. Subsequently, paste the chosen variable into the content.

5. Tap anywhere outside the selected module, then repeat the same series of steps to add more custom values.

6. Once completed, tap 'Save' to apply the changes.
