How to Automate Todoist from Outlook Calendar Events Through Zapier



Guide

  1. From your 'Zapier' dashboard, select 'Zap'.

  2. Click on the 'Trigger' field to select the event.

  3. Choose 'Microsoft Outlook' as the trigger app.

  4. Select a trigger event such as 'New Calendar Event'.

  5. Authorize Zapier to access your Outlook account.

  6. Select the calendar you want to monitor.

  7. Click 'Test trigger' and zapier will fetch a recent event from your Outlook calendar to test the setup.

  8. Choose 'Todoist' as the action app.

  9. Select 'Create Task' as the action event.

  10. Authorize your Todoist account.

  11. Customize the Task in Todoist and click 'Continue'.

  12. Click 'Test step' to confirm the data from the Outlook event creates a task in Todoist.

  13. After successful testing, click 'Publish'.
