1. Open an existing survey.

2. Go to the 'Design Survey' tab to access the editor.

3. Once you're in the survey editor, look for the 'Themes' tab or section. This is usually located in the survey editing toolbar at the top of the page.

4. In the 'Themes' section, you'll see a selection of both 'free' and 'premium' themes.

5. Free themes are typically marked as such or won't have any 'locked' icons, while premium themes are often marked with a lock or indicate that they're for paid accounts.

6. Browse the available free themes and select one by clicking on it. This will apply the theme to your survey instantly.

7. After selecting a free theme, click 'Preview survey'.

8. Once you’ve chosen and customized your theme, you can give your survey a polished look without needing a premium subscription.
