Salesforce Custom Report

Guide

1. Click on the Gear icon on the top-right and select Setup from the dropdown.

2. Search for Report Types in the Quick find field.

3. Hit Continue.

4. Click on the New Custom Report Type button.

5. Select the Primary objects (Record A) for your report (e.g. Accounts)

   Also, input the category which the primary object falls under.

6. While testing you can keep the status as In Development

7. However, you will need to change it to Deployed if you want to push the report live. After that hit Next.

8. Hit Click to relate to another object to add the B record.

9. Select the B record. (E.g. Opportunities)

10. And hit Save.
