How to Create a Group in Jira



Guide

  1. Click on the gear icon in the top-right corner of the Jira interface to access the Jira settings.

  2. In the sidebar, click 'User Management'.

  3. Click 'Groups'.

  4. On the Groups page, you’ll see a list of existing groups. Click on the 'Create group' button located at the top of the page.

  5. Create your Group's name, members and description. Click 'Create'.

  6. After creating the group, a notification pops up confirming the action.

  7. Once the group is created and populated with users, you can use it to assign issues, manage permissions, and streamline communication within the group.
