1. Click 'Create' and select 'Zaps' to create an automation for Notion with Gmail.

2. Start a trigger by selecting the 'Trigger' button.

3. Select 'Gmail' as your trigger app.

4. Select a trigger event, such as 'New Email' or 'New Labeled Email'.

5. To connect, click 'Sign in' and grant Zapier access.

6. Choose an account to continue to Zapier.

7. Click 'Allow' to grant access to Zapier.

8. You may also click 'Change' if you want to change the Gmail account link to Zapier.

9. Specify the conditions that will trigger the Zap and select the trigger.

10. Select 'Notion' as the action app.

11. Ensure a new database item is created or updated in Notion based on the Gmail trigger.

12. Click 'Change' if you want to change access for Zapier through Notion.

13. Ensure a new database item is created or updated in Notion based on the Gmail trigger.

14. Ensure Zapier can retrieve data from Gmail then click 'Publish'.

15. Toggle the Zap to 'On' to start the automation. By following these steps, you can effectively integrate Notion with Gmail, enhancing your productivity and workflow management.
