How to use Boolean search in linked in sales navigator

  1. Click on the 'Lead Filters' option

  2. If you want to find something specific, put quotes around it. For instance: "Supply Chain Director"

  3. You can now see leads with the exact keywords 'Supply chain director'

  4. Use (NOT) right before keyword to keep it out of your search. For instance, 'Chief Executive Officer NOT sales'

  5. You can now see leads with the exact keywords 'Chief Executive Officer NOT Sales'

  6. Use the word (AND) to find the results that have both your keywords. For example, 'Sales AND Marketing specialist'

  7. You can now see the list of leads who are in both 'sales AND Marketing'

  8. Use parentheses to search leads who are in more than one function foe example: (VP OR Head) AND (Sales OR Marketing)

  9. Now the results will show leads who are in either VP Sales or Head Marketing or Head Marketing or Head Sales or VP Marketing
