Highlight the cells containing the numbers you want to format as currency.
In the Home tab, locate the Number section, click the Number Format dropdown.
Go to Currency section and choose a Symbol.
Once done, click OK.
The selected cells will now display numbers formatted as currency using your system's default currency symbol.
