1. Click your profile icon located at the upper right corner of your Github dashboard.

2. From the drop-down menu, select 'Settings'.

3. Click on the 'Password and authentication' button.

4. Click on the 'Change password' button.

5. Enter your old Github password in the 'Old password' field.

6. Enter your new password in the 'New password' field.

7. Confirm your new password by filling out the 'Confirm new password' field.

8. To save changes, click 'Update password'.

9. By following these steps, you can safely change your Github password.
