How To Create A Trigger In Pipedrive



Guide

  1. From your Pipedrive dashboard, go to the dotted icon for More options.

  2. Select the Automations option at the top.

  3. Click on the + Automations button.

  4. You are now inside the automations page. You can create and modify custom workflows here.

  5. First, select a trigger for your workflow from the options on the right side. Each option has its own menu to pick from.

  6. Click on Apply trigger at the bottom right.

  7. Define the conditions to check for.

  8. Select the first parameter for your condition.

  9. Select a comparative condition.

  10. Select another parameter to compare with. Note that these parameters and condition are used together to evaluate whether or not the workflow will continue or stop.

  11. Click on the Apply condition button to confirm.

  12. Now that we have our initial trigger and the instant condition created. We can click on the (+) icon to create an action to be performed.

  13. Choose from the options a step you wish to add such as the Action option.

  14. Select the type of action.

  15. Followed by the subtype of the action.

  16. Click Apply.

  17. If required, go through the necessary steps for each type and click Next.

  18. Once you have filled out the necessary input fields, click on Apply action to confirm.

  19. Now, simply click on Save and you have created a trigger and an associated workflow in Pipedrive!
