How to Create Macro in MS Access



Guide

  1. Go to the 'Create' tab on the ribbon.

  2. Click on 'Macro' in the 'Macros & Code' group. This opens the 'Macro Designer' window.

  3. In the dropdown under 'Action Catalog', select the desired action.

  4. After selecting an action, configure its arguments in the provided fields such as the 'Form Name', 'View' and 'Data Mode'.

  5. Each action will execute in sequence.

  6. Click the 'Save' button.

  7. Give the macro a descriptive name and click 'OK'.

  8. Close the 'Macro Designer' and that's it, you have successfully created a macro in MS Access.
