How to Create Measures in Power BI

Once you have your data loaded, click on the 'Table view'.
Select 'New Measure'.
In the formula bar, type a DAX formula.
Click on the check icon to apply and commit the expression.
Press 'Enter' and your measure is ready.
Measures will appear in the 'Data' pane with a calculator icon next to them.
