Salesforce - How to Add Attachment Field in Salesforce

Guide

1. Go to Setup on the top right.

2. Click on Object Manager.

3. Go to the object where you want to attach files (e.g., Opportunity).

4. Under the object, navigate to Relationships & Fields.

5. Click New to create a relationship.

6. Select Text Area (Rich): This is a Rich Text field.

7. And provide a Label (e.g., "Additional Information").

8. Hit Next.

9. When editing a record, you can use the rich text editor to enter text and upload small images directly within the field.
