How To Add Link To Anchor in Confluence

Guide

  1. Type /anchor and choose “Anchor link”.

  2. Enter a unique name for your anchor (avoid using spaces).

  3. The anchor will be placed discreetly and it won’t appear on the published page.

  4. To create a link, select the text and press Ctrl + K (or Cmd + K on Mac).

  5. In the link field, type #youranchorname, using the exact name with a # in front, then click Insert.

  6. Hit Publish to apply your changes.

  7. Test the link and it should jump straight to the anchored section.
