Guide

1. Open Jira and go to the project where the ticket is located.

2. Click on the ticket to open its detailed view.

3. Find the status dropdown or transition buttons at the top of the ticket, usually near the ticket title or in the issue’s workflow section.

4. Select 'In Progress' from the available options.

5. Ensure the ticket now shows 'In Progress' in the status field.

6. The ticket’s status will automatically update to 'In Progress'.
