1. Head over to the top-left corner, then click the 'Main Menu' icon.

2. Hover your mouse cursor over the 'Plugins' option and then click 'Development'.

3. Click 'New Plugin' afterwards.

4. Assign a unique plugin name and then select the coverage of the plugin you wish to create. After that, tap 'Next' to proceed.

5. Next, choose your preferred type of plugin and then click 'Save As'.

6. Confirm the filename, as well as, the target destination. Once done, tap 'Save' to proceed.

7. After completing these steps, the Figma plugin will be created and saved to your device. At this point, you can now start building its structure and function before you finally run it into the platform.
