How to create a table of contents in Coda

Guide

1. Open your Coda document where you want to add a table of contents.

2. Place your cursor at the spot where you'd like your Table of Contents to appear.

3. Click the + icon in the left margin or use the / command to open the menu.

4. Type 'Table of Contents' in the search bar and select 'Outline' from the options that appear.

5. Coda will automatically generate a clickable Table of Contents based on all your document's headings.

6. Your Table of Contents will update automatically as you add or change headings in your document. No manual refreshing needed!
