HubSpot - Deleting records from Active & Static lists

Go to Contacts.
From the dropdown, choose Lists
Select your Active/ Static list.
Select the contacts you want to remove from the list.
Select More and hit Delete from the dropdown to remove the contact.
In case of a Static list, you'll get the 'Remove from static list' option
In the pop-up next, you'll be asked to confirm the number of records you're deleting.
