How to delete a jira ticket

Navigate to your project board.
Hover over the tickets to reveal 3 dots and click on it.
Select Delete from the dropdown.
You will be asked to confirm your action. Hit the Delete button again.
You will see a success prompt saying, "Item deleted successfully."
