How to delete an epic in jira

Head over to the Backlog on the left sidebar.
Find and hit the Epic dropdown and turn ON the toggle: Show epic panel.
Click on the little right arrow on the Epic to show more.
And hit the View all details button.
Epic Details will open on the right. Click on the Three dots menu.
And hit Delete from the dropdown.
Hit Delete to confirm.
