1. First, open your Framer project and access the canvas where you want to draw your line.

2. For more advanced line creation, try using the 'Vector' tool, which gives you pixel-perfect control over your shapes.

3. Select 'Path' from the toolbar to create custom shapes with more refined control over your lines.

4. Click once on the canvas to set your starting point, then move your cursor and click again to establish the endpoint of your line.

5. Voilà! You've just created a straight line in Framer. You can now adjust its properties in the right panel.
