How to Import Excel into Power BI

Guide

1. Open Power BI Desktop, click 'Black report'.

2. Select 'Import data from Excel' as your data source.

3. Browse and select your .xlsx file. Once done, click 'Open'.

4. Power BI will show the list of tables/sheets in the file. Check the boxes for the ones you want to import.

5. Click 'Load'.

6. After loading, your Excel data is now part of your Power BI model and ready for visualizations.
