1. On Hootsuite's main dashboard, head over to the left-side panel and click 'Plan'.

2. Access the calendar and pick an upcoming date when you wish to publish a post.

3. Subsequently, choose 'Post' from the list of options.

4. Tap the 'Publish To' menu and select the social accounts where you intend to publish the post.

5. Following that, tap the text box under the Your Post section and type the caption.

6. Click the 'Add Media' icon afterwards, then select the image or video file you wish to use.

7. Once done, review the post and then tap 'Schedule' to proceed.

8. After completing these steps, your post will be scheduled for the selected date. Repeat the same series of steps if you wish to plan more social media posts ahead of time.
