1. Go to the Upwork site and click 'Sign Up'.

2. Select the type of account you want to create.

3. If you want to offer services, select 'Apply as a Freelancer' when prompted.

4. Fill in your full name, email address, and password.

5. Set your location and agree to Upwork’s terms of service.

6. Click 'Create my account'.

7. Upwork will send a verification email to the address you provided. Click 'Go to Gmail Inbox'.

8. Once you have verified your account. A notification pops up.

9. That's it! Once you have created your Upwork profile you can now start setting up your profile.
