1. Log in to Buffer, select your desired social media account, and click "Settings."

2. Click on "General."

3. Go to "Link Shortening" and choose a default link shortener (e.g., buff.ly or Bit.ly).

4. Go to your social media channel and click on "+" to create a new post.

5. Paste a URL into the post composer—Buffer will automatically shorten it.

6. Click "Add to Queue" or schedule your post as needed.
