How to Use Linear's Backlog View



Guide

  1. To use Linear's Backlog view, navigate to your team's sidebar.

  2. Select 'Backlog'.

  3. The Backlog is where you store new ideas and issues that haven't been prioritized or added to your team's active roadmap yet. 

  4. Create new issues directly in the Backlog view by clicking the add icon.

  5. When ready, move issues from the Backlog to the 'Active Issues' view to start working on them. 

  6. Utilize filters and sorting options to organize your Backlog based on specific criteria like labels, assignees, or due dates. 

  7. You can easily switch between different views like 'Active Issues' and 'Backlog' using keyboard shortcuts or the sidebar navigation.
