How to Write Off Accounts Payable in Xero



Guide

  1. On Xero's main dashboard, navigate to the top menu bar and click 'Business'.

  2. Choose 'Bills To Pay' from the list of options.

  3. After that, browse the list of your bills and select the specific account payable you want to write off.

  4. Tap 'Bill Options' in the top-right corner.

  5. Subsequently, click 'Add Credit Note'.

  6. Once done, review the details and click 'Approve' or 'Save'.

  7. After completing these steps, the selected account payable from your bills will be written off instantly.
