How to Add Blocked Status in Jira

Guide

1. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner.

2. Navigate to 'Issues' under 'Jira Settings'.

3. In the Issues settings, go to the 'Statuses' section under 'Issue Attributes'.

4. Click on 'Add Status'.

5. Enter the name and optionally a description.

6. Select a category for the status.

7. Save the new status by clicking 'Add'.

8. After following these steps, the 'Blocked' status should now be available for use in your Jira project.
