1. Navigate to your Coda document.

2. Add a new task to your workflow to track work that needs to be completed.

3. Select 'Button' to create an interactive button that will automatically add tasks with pre-filled information.

4. Define what happens when someone clicks your button. This is where we set up the automation action.

5. Choose which table will receive the new task data. Buttons can affect any table in your doc, creating flexible workflows.

6. Customize your button's appearance with text that communicates its purpose.

7. Take a moment to confirm that everything looks right. Your button should be ready to streamline your task creation process.
