How to Create a Checklist Template in ClickUp



Guide

  1. Open a task and create checklist items under the '+ Create Checklist' section.

  2. Add new checklist items.

  3. Hover over 'Checklists' and click the ellipsis icon to open a dropdown menu.

  4. Click 'Save as Template'.

  5. Type the name of your new template.

  6. Select who to share the template with.

  7. Click 'Save Template'.

  8. When creating a checklist, you'll be able to see and search for checklist templates from all spaces, as long as you have access to the Space where the checklist was saved.
