How to Create a Power BI Report from Excel

Guide

1. Open Power BI Desktop, click 'Black report'.

2. Make sure to select 'Import data from Excel' as your data source.

3. Browse and select your .xlsx file. Once done, click 'Open'.

4. Power BI will show the list of tables/sheets in the file. Check the boxes for the ones you want to import.

5. Click 'Load' to load your dataset from Excel.

6. After loading, your Excel data is now part of your Power BI model.
