How to create a project in jira



Guide

  1. Go to Projects in the top menu bar. Select Create project.

  2. Select from the Project templates. Templates are grouped into a library of use-case-based categories.

  3. Under Products, templates are grouped by Jira Cloud products. Choose a category or product.

  4. Choose a project type: either a company-managed project or a team-managed project. Learn more about team-managed projects.

  5. Select your Team type.

  6. Hit Create Project

  7. Your Project is now created. You can start adding issues to it by clicking on Create Issue.

  8. Add issue details and hit Create.

  9. Your Project board is ready to be used!
