1. From the Jira dashboard, go to the project for which you want to create a release.

2. In the left-hand sidebar, click on 'Releases'.

3. Click the 'Create version' button at the top right.

4. Fill in the release details such as release name, start date, release date and description.

5. Once you've filled in the necessary information, click 'Save'.
