1. Click on the 'Projects' tab in the sidebar.

2. Click on the 'Create new project' button.

3. Enter a project name that clearly defines the purpose of the project.

4. Optionally, add a description to provide more details.

5. Select a status for your project.

6. Select a project priority.

7. Select a project owner who will oversee progress.

8. Assign the project to a team.

9. Select the start date of the project.

10. Set a due date to track milestones effectively.

11. Click 'Create project' to save changes.

12. That’s it! You’ve successfully created your first project in Linear.
