1. Go to your Slack workspace. Click on the '+Add apps' section on the sidebar.

3. Search for 'GitHub' in the search bar.

4. Click on the GitHub app or select 'Add'.

7. Authorize the GitHub app to access your Slack workspace by clicking 'Connect Github account'.

8. Click the copy icon to copy the verification code.

9. Click 'Enter code'.

10. Enter the code in the space provided and select 'Submit'.
