Before deleting the Slack app, you must make sure to quit any running instances of the app.
Hit Command + Space on your keyboard to open the Spotlight Search. And search for the Applications folder.
Look for the Slack app in the Applications folder.
Right-click and select Move to Bin to delete the Slack app. Or simply hit the command + delete shortcut on your keyboard.
