How to create a database in notion

1. Databases in Notion can take shape in many forms, the simplest of which is a simple table. To create one, use a slash command or click on it from the options at the bottom.

2. If you click on the three dotted menu, you will see more formats for creating and viewing a database.

3. Or, use a slash command (/database) to view and insert a database anywhere on a page.

4. For this example we'll be using an inline database. Simply click to insert.

5. You now have a database in the form of a table. For more options click on the 6 dotted icon for menu.

6. Among other things from here, you can turn your inline database into a full page.

7. On doing so, your inline database will change into a link to the full page database. Click on it to open the full view.

8. You now know how to insert, modify and create databases in Notion. You can use these to insert data, add properties and so on.
