How to Create a Task Template in Asana

Guide

1. Navigate to the project where you want to create the task template.

2. Select a task and open it.

3. Click on the three-dot menu (ellipsis) in the top-right corner of the task window.

4. Select 'Convert task to template'.

5. A notification pops up confirming the action.

6. The converted task template will look like this in your project dashboard. Click on it.

7. That's it! You now have a converted template. You can also choose to 'Reopen task' whenever you want.
