1. On Hootsuite's main dashboard, tap 'Create a Post' at the top-right corner.

2. Following that, tap the 'Publish To' menu and select the platforms where you wish to publish the post. Simply tick the checkbox beside your preferred social accounts.

3. Tap the text box afterwards, then type your social media caption.

4. Subsequently, click the 'Add Media' icon and then upload the image or video you want to add to your post.

5. Once done, review the appearance of the post and then tap 'Post Now' to proceed. Alternatively, you may click 'Save As Draft' or 'Schedule For Later' as well.

6. After completing these steps, your first Hootsuite post will be created and published based on your input.
