How to Make a Timeline on ClickUp

  1. Go to the Space, Folder, or List where you want to create the timeline view.

  2. Click on the '+View' icon next to the existing views at the top of the page.

  3. From the dropdown menu, select 'Timeline'.

  4. Give your new timeline view a name if prompted.

  5. Once the timeline view is created, go to your settings and you can customize it.

  6. To add and manage tasks click on the space under the date.

  7. Name your task on the empty field provided.

  8. Add assignee, priority, and time estimate. Click 'Save' to save your task.

  9. Once you have successfully created your first task for your Timeline.

  10. Open your task and write a comment for your first task.

  11. That's it! Your timeline is all set. You can effectively create and manage a timeline view in ClickUp, helping you to visualize and track your tasks and project milestones over time.
