1. In the selected view, look for the sort icon usually represented by a filter or sort icon.

2. Click the sort icon to begin sorting.

3. Tasks will sort in descending order by default. To change that, click the 'Sort' button again.

4. Click the 'Clear sort' button to disable sorting.

5. With sorting disabled, you can now manually drag and drop tasks to organize them in the order you prefer.

6. By following these steps, you can disable sorting in ClickUp and manually organize your tasks according to your preferences.
