1. Create a new board using the + New Board button or select an existing one.

2. Customize your board and enter its name.

3. Select the Add to Board option.

4. Select Insight Report.

5. Under Metrics, click on the Select Event field.

6. Next to the search bar, click on the + Create button.

7. Custom events work as a combination for existing events. Enter a name for your new custom event and then proceed to + Add pre-existing events which will together make up the new event.

8. Select an event to include from the list.

9. Add another or continue.

10. When done, click on Save.

11. You have now created a custom event in mixpanel that tracks a combination of other events.
