1. Open an existing one in which you want to add a Likert Scale question by clicking the ellipsis icon.

2. From the drop-down menu, select 'Edit survey'.

3. In the selected survey, navigate to the 'Design Survey' section and click on the '+ New Question' button to add a question.

4. Select 'Matrix/Rating Scale' from the list of question types.

5. In the main question text box, enter the main question.

6. Under the 'Row Choices' section, input your rows. These represent the items or statements you want respondents to rate.

7. Under the 'Column Choices' section, enter your answer choices. These represent the 'Likert scale' options.

8. After configuring the Likert scale, click on 'Save' to add it to your survey.

9. Once done, preview the question to make sure the formatting and layout look correct by clicking 'Preview survey'.
