Reprise alternatives

Reprise alternatives: 7 demo platforms, from self-serve to enterprise

Short answer: Teams usually look for Reprise alternatives because pricing is not public, there is no free plan, and setup runs through an enterprise implementation. LiveDemo is free for one creator with 3 published demos, Pro is $34/mo per creator, and Growth at $49/mo adds Agentic Demos. Stay on Reprise if you need app cloning or live data injection.

Last updated

Reprise is an enterprise demo creation platform. Its strengths are app cloning and AI data injection, which let solutions engineering teams show a realistic copy of the product with data that fits each prospect. It is sold with a dedicated account team and a training academy, and it is built for large presales organizations.

That model doesn't fit every team. Pricing is not published, there is no free plan, and getting started means an implementation project. Those are the most common reasons people look elsewhere.

This guide covers seven Reprise alternatives, what each one costs where pricing is public, and who it's for. It also covers the cases where you should stay on Reprise. We build LiveDemo, one of the alternatives below, so we've kept to published facts and linked a detailed comparison for every product. All pricing was checked on 5 October 2026.

For a direct, feature-by-feature comparison of the two products, see LiveDemo vs Reprise.

Why teams look for Reprise alternatives

These are the reasons we hear most often from teams who switched, or considered switching, from Reprise.

Pricing is not public. Reprise describes an annual platform fee plus per-user licenses, but it does not publish the amounts. You can't estimate your budget, or compare it with other tools, without going through a sales process first.

There is no free plan. You can't try Reprise on your own. If you just want to see whether an interactive demo on your homepage changes conversion, you need a contract before you have any data.

Setup takes an implementation. Reprise is designed for organizations with time for a full implementation before the first demo. That makes sense for a large SE team with complex demo environments. It is slow for a marketer or founder who wants a demo live this week.

No AI agent for buyers. Reprise's AI is aimed at builders: it offers AI data injection and an MCP server so your own agents can help create demos. It does not put an AI agent inside the demo to guide each buyer and answer their questions.

No AI voiceover. Reprise does not offer AI voiceover, so narrated walkthroughs need a separate recording or tool.

Closed source. Reprise is a hosted product. Teams with strict data-residency rules, or that want an exit path that doesn't mean rebuilding everything, can't run it themselves.

When you should stay on Reprise

Switching tools costs time, and Reprise does things most interactive demo tools don't. It is likely still your best option in these cases:

  • You need app cloning. Reprise's app cloning gives SEs a realistic copy of the product to demo. Self-serve demo builders, including LiveDemo, don't clone apps.
  • You inject custom data into demos. Reprise's AI data injection lets you tailor the data each prospect sees. LiveDemo has AI text personalization, but no live-app data injection.
  • Your SE team already runs on Reprise. If your demo library, environments and training are built around it, rebuilding them is real work.
  • You want a dedicated account team and structured training. Reprise is sold with an account team and a training academy, which suits large organizations rolling out demos to many reps.
  • Budget for an annual platform fee is already approved. If cost is not the issue, the switching cost probably outweighs the savings.

If most of these apply, you should probably stay. If your main need is interactive demos for marketing, sales follow-up or onboarding, keep reading.

LiveDemo vs Navattic

The list starts with LiveDemo, then covers four enterprise peers that compete with Reprise directly, then two self-serve tools for teams that want something lighter.

1. LiveDemo: published pricing, a free plan and AI agents for buyers

LiveDemo is a self-serve interactive demo platform. You capture your product, edit the steps and publish a demo in minutes, with no implementation project. The differences from Reprise are mostly about access, pricing and AI:

  • Free forever for one creator, with 3 published demos, HTML capture, AI voiceover and AI text personalization.
  • Published pricing. Pro is $34/mo per creator ($27 billed annually) for unlimited demos and lead capture. Growth is $49/mo per creator ($39 billed annually). Business is custom and starts at 10 creators.
  • Agentic Demos on the Growth plan, where an AI Demo Agent guides each buyer through the demo and answers questions. Reprise does not offer a buyer-facing agent.
  • AI voiceover, which Reprise does not offer.
  • More capture sources: a Chrome extension, a Figma plugin, and macOS and Windows apps, with HTML, screenshots and video in one flow.
  • Source-available (FSL-1.1-MIT) and free to self-host on every plan. Whitelabel is not included in free self-hosting; a hosted, whitelabeled instance on your own domain is a paid Business option.

What you give up: LiveDemo has no app cloning and no live-app data injection, so it can't replace Reprise for SE teams that demo a working copy of the product. It is also weaker at sandbox demos, digital sales rooms, A/B testing and AI video generation, and it has fewer native integrations than Navattic or Storylane. See LiveDemo vs Reprise.

2. Walnut: an enterprise platform with published starting prices

Walnut is the closest enterprise peer that publishes prices. Ignite is $575/mo and Accelerate is $1,550/mo, both billed annually with seats and an annual AI credit pool. Ignite includes 3 editor seats and 50,000 AI credits, and Scale is custom. Walnut covers sandboxes, deal rooms and CSM-led onboarding; it says most teams create their first personalized demos within 2 weeks. Its in-demo AI agent, Buyer Xpert, is a paid add-on metered per answered conversation. See LiveDemo vs Walnut.

3. Demostack: for large presales teams that need full product clones

Demostack is the most direct alternative to Reprise's cloning approach. It clones your product frontend for enterprise sandbox demos and is sold with SE and CSM support from implementation onward. Like Reprise, its pricing is not publicly listed, and Demostack itself says it costs more than many other demo solutions. Unlike Reprise, it ships AI agents that help build simulations and guide users through demos. It has no free plan. See LiveDemo vs Demostack.

4. Saleo: for live demos with injected data

If data injection is the Reprise feature you rely on, Saleo is built around it: it injects custom data into live product demos. Its AI Demo Agent runs conversational, co-browsing demos for buyers, with multilingual support and automatic recaps. Pricing is not publicly listed, there is no free plan, and every purchase includes a dedicated Customer Success Manager and strategic onboarding. See LiveDemo vs Saleo.

5. TestBox: for sandboxes on your real product

TestBox takes a different route: it runs your actual product with AI-generated synthetic data and gives buyers sandboxes. Unlike Reprise, it publishes a price: the demo platform starts at $44,750/yr for 15 seats, additional users are $1,200/yr, and implementation fees apply. Its agents guide buyers through the product, and its sandboxes include an AI copilot. A separate Data Generator has a $0 tier and paid tiers from $40/mo. See LiveDemo vs TestBox.

6. Storylane: a self-serve suite with sandboxes and Hubs

If you want to move away from enterprise contracts but keep sandbox demos, Storylane is a full demo suite with sandbox demos, digital sales rooms (Hubs) and A/B testing. Its free plan allows 1 live demo, and HTML demos start on Growth at $500/mo for 5 seats. Its RepX AI SDRs run demos and answer visitor questions, sold separately from $2,000/mo. See LiveDemo vs Storylane and our Storylane alternatives guide.

7. Navattic: for marketing teams that want deep integrations

Navattic is built for demo-led marketing and has a broad catalog of CRM and sales-tool integrations. The free Starter plan includes 1 seat and 1 demo. Paid plans are billed annually as seat bundles, with Base at 5 seats and Growth at 10. Navattic Agents, which guide and qualify prospects, are priced separately from the demo plans. See LiveDemo vs Navattic and our Navattic alternatives guide.

How to switch from Reprise

There's no standard export format between demo tools, so switching means re-capturing. If you're moving from cloned environments to interactive demos, it also means deciding which demos still need a live environment.

  1. List your demos and who uses them. Separate marketing and follow-up demos from the SE-led environments used on live calls.
  2. Decide what needs cloning. Demos that depend on a working app or injected data may need to stay on Reprise or move to another enterprise platform. Guided click-through demos usually don't.
  3. Rebuild the most-used demo first. Capture the flow with the new tool's extension or desktop app and copy your step text across. A 5 to 7 step demo takes 10 to 20 minutes.
  4. Recreate the call to action and any lead capture form, and reconnect your CRM if the new tool supports it.
  5. Swap the embeds and links on your website and in sales sequences, then repeat for the next demo.
  6. Keep Reprise running until the new demos are live, and time the switch to your contract renewal date.

If you're moving to LiveDemo, the step-by-step demo builder guide covers capture and editing with screenshots.
