Arcade is one of the best-known interactive demo tools, and it earns that reputation: demos look polished, the editor is fast, and its AI features help marketers turn a product flow into a branded demo or video in minutes. But its packaging doesn't suit every team, and pricing and plan limits are the most common reasons people look elsewhere.
This guide covers seven Arcade alternatives, what each one costs, and who it's for. It also covers the cases where you should stay on Arcade. We build LiveDemo, one of the alternatives below, so we've kept to published facts and linked a detailed comparison for every claim. All pricing was checked on 5 October 2026.
For a direct, feature-by-feature comparison of the two products, see LiveDemo vs Arcade. For a deeper look at Arcade's plans, see our breakdown of Arcade AI pricing.
Why teams look for Arcade alternatives
These are the reasons we hear most often from teams who switched, or considered switching, from Arcade.
One published demo on the free plan. Arcade's free plan includes 1 published demo and 1 published video. That's enough to try the product, but most teams need a homepage demo, a few feature demos and a sales follow-up demo, which means paying from the start.
Every seat costs $50/mo. Growth is $50/mo per seat, or $42.50 billed yearly, and every extra seat is another $50/month. When marketing, sales and customer success all want to build demos, the bill grows with headcount.
HTML capture is Enterprise only. Arcade's standard capture is screenshots and video. HTML demos, which stay sharp on any screen and can be edited after capture, require an Enterprise contract.
No AI agent for buyers. Arcade's AI is built for creators: it helps generate videos, visuals and copy. It does not put an AI agent inside the demo to guide each buyer and answer their questions, which is the direction much of the category is moving.
Closed source. Arcade is a hosted product. Teams with strict data-residency rules, or that want an exit path that doesn't mean rebuilding everything, can't run it themselves.
When you should stay on Arcade
Switching tools costs time. Arcade is likely still your best option if:
- AI-generated product videos are your main output, and interactive demos are secondary.
- Visual polish is the top priority and your team already has an on-brand Arcade template library.
- You publish demos on social channels where Arcade's video and GIF exports fit naturally.
- You only need one or two demo creators, so per-seat pricing stays small.
If most of these apply, the switching cost probably outweighs the savings.

Walnut
Starting price: $575/mo
Walnut publishes Ignite at $575/mo and Accelerate at $1,550/mo, both billed annually with seats plus an annual AI credit pool; Scale is custom.
Best for:
- Sales orgs with budget for $575+/mo annual contracts

1. LiveDemo: more free demos, HTML capture and AI agents for less
LiveDemo is self-serve like Arcade, and a first demo takes about the same time to publish: around 10 minutes. The differences are in pricing and packaging:
- 3 published demos free, instead of 1, with AI voiceover and AI text personalization included.
- HTML capture from the free plan, instead of Enterprise only.
- Pro at $34/mo per creator ($27 billed annually) for unlimited demos and lead capture, compared with $50/mo per seat on Arcade Growth.
- Agentic Demos on the $49/mo Growth plan, where an AI agent guides each buyer through the demo and answers questions.
- More capture sources: a Chrome extension, a Figma plugin, and macOS and Windows apps, with HTML, screenshots and video in one flow.
- Source-available (FSL-1.1-MIT) and free to self-host, or hosted and whitelabeled on your own domain with the paid Business plan.
What you give up: LiveDemo doesn't match Arcade's AI video generation and visual design tools. If branded product videos are the main deliverable, Arcade is stronger. See LiveDemo vs Arcade.
2. Storylane: for teams that need sandboxes and Hubs
Storylane is a full demo suite with sandbox demos, digital sales rooms (Hubs) and A/B testing. Its free plan allows 1 live demo, and Growth is $500/mo for 5 seats, where HTML demos start. RepX AI SDRs are priced separately from $2,000/mo. It's a step up in both features and price. See LiveDemo vs Storylane and our Storylane alternatives guide.
3. Navattic: for marketing teams that want deep integrations
Navattic is built for demo-led marketing, with a broad catalog of CRM and sales-tool integrations. The free Starter plan includes 1 seat and 1 demo. Paid plans are billed annually as seat bundles, with Base at 5 seats and Growth at 10. Navattic Agents are priced separately. See LiveDemo vs Navattic and our Navattic alternatives guide.
4. Supademo: for training and compliance-heavy teams
Supademo bills per creator, like Arcade: Free at $0, Scale at $50/mo ($38 annual), Business at $249/mo and Growth at $450/mo. It's a good fit for customer education teams that need multilingual demos and versioning. Its AI Demo Agent is sold as a usage-based credit add-on. See LiveDemo vs Supademo.
5. HowdyGo: for large teams that want flat pricing
HowdyGo charges a flat rate for unlimited users: Starter at $159/mo and Pro at $399/mo, with 20% off annual billing. If many people across sales and success build demos, that can cost less than paying Arcade $50 per seat. There's a 14-day trial but no free plan. See LiveDemo vs HowdyGo.
6. Folio: for sales reps who live in Gmail
Folio is a simple, low-cost demo builder with a Gmail add-on for embedding demos in emails. The free plan includes 2 demos, Lite is $29/mo per user ($25 annually), and Team is $69/mo per user with a 2-user minimum. It doesn't offer agentic demos. See LiveDemo vs Folio.
7. Walnut: for enterprise sales teams
If you're leaving Arcade because you need more (sales-led demo governance, advanced CRM features and dedicated onboarding), Walnut is the step up. Ignite starts at $575/mo and Accelerate at $1,550/mo, both billed annually with an annual AI credit pool. See LiveDemo vs Walnut.

How to switch from Arcade
Moving to LiveDemo? Paste a public Arcade demo link on the demo migration page and LiveDemo recreates it for free in a few minutes, so you can skip the re-capture steps below.
There's no standard export format between other demo tools, so switching to them means re-capturing. It's less work than it sounds.
- List your published demos and sort them by views. Most teams find that two or three demos get most of the traffic.
- Rebuild the top demo first. Re-capture the flow with the new tool's extension and copy your hotspot text across. A 5 to 7 step demo takes 10 to 20 minutes.
- Recreate the call to action and any lead capture form, and reconnect your CRM if the new tool supports it.
- Swap the embed code on your website, then repeat for the next demo.
- Keep Arcade running until the new embeds are live, so no page shows a broken demo.
If you're moving to LiveDemo, the step-by-step demo builder guide covers capture and editing with screenshots.
