Tourial is an interactive demo platform built for marketing teams. It focuses on micro tours and content playlists, captures screens with a Chrome extension, and offers guided workshops to help teams get started. For marketing teams that want a hands-on rollout, that approach works. But it's a sales-led product, and the lack of public pricing is the most common reason people look elsewhere.
This guide covers seven Tourial alternatives, what each one costs, and who it's for. It also covers the cases where you should stay on Tourial. We build LiveDemo, one of the alternatives below, so we've kept to published facts and linked a detailed comparison for every product. All pricing was checked on 5 October 2026.
For a direct, feature-by-feature comparison of the two products, see LiveDemo vs Tourial.
Why teams look for Tourial alternatives
These are the reasons that come up most often when teams compare Tourial with other demo tools.
No public pricing. Tourial's pricing page lists Engage and Scale plans, but no prices. To get a number you need a sales conversation, which slows down evaluation and makes it hard to compare tools side by side or get budget approved early.
No free plan. Tourial doesn't list a free plan, so you can't build and publish a real demo before talking to sales. Most self-serve tools in this category let one person try the product and publish at least one demo at no cost.
Setup is built around workshops, not self-serve. Tourial offers guided workshops and agency-style help to get teams started. That's useful if you want support, but it's slower if one person just wants to capture a flow and put it on the website this week.
No HTML capture. Tourial captures screenshots and video. HTML demos stay sharp on any screen size and can be edited after capture, for example to change text or hide sensitive data, without re-recording the flow.
No AI voiceover or AI personalization. Tourial's feature set does not include AI voiceover or AI text personalization. If you want narrated demos, or demos that adapt copy to each account, you'll need another tool.
No AI agent for buyers. Tourial offers AI tour generation, which helps creators build tours faster. It doesn't put an AI agent inside the demo to guide each buyer and answer their questions, which is where much of the category is heading.
When you should stay on Tourial
Switching tools costs time. Tourial is likely still your best option if:
- Micro tours and content playlists are how you run demo marketing. Tourial is built around that format, and your existing playlists may be hard to replicate exactly.
- Your team wants workshops and agency help instead of self-serve setup. Tourial's guided onboarding suits teams that would rather not build demos alone.
- You don't need HTML capture, AI voiceover or AI agents. If screenshot and video tours already do the job, the main reasons to switch don't apply.
- Buying through sales is normal for your company. If procurement expects a quote and a contract anyway, unpublished pricing is less of a problem.
If most of these apply, the switching cost probably outweighs the benefits.

1. LiveDemo: published pricing, a free plan and AI agents
LiveDemo is self-serve: anyone can sign up and publish a demo in minutes, without a sales call or a workshop. Here's how it differs from Tourial:
- Free forever for one creator, with 3 published demos, HTML capture, AI voiceover and AI text personalization included.
- Published pricing. Pro is $34/mo per creator ($27 billed annually) for unlimited demos and lead capture. Growth is $49/mo per creator ($39 billed annually) and adds CRM integrations and Agentic Demos.
- Agentic Demos, where an AI Demo Agent walks each buyer through the product and answers their questions.
- HTML capture, alongside screenshots and video, so demos stay sharp and editable.
- More capture sources: a Chrome extension, a Figma plugin, and macOS and Windows apps.
- Source-available (FSL-1.1-MIT) and free to self-host on every plan. Whitelabel is not included in free self-hosting; it's a paid option on the Business plan, which is custom-priced and starts at 10 creators.
What you give up: LiveDemo is weaker than some tools at sandbox demos, digital sales rooms, A/B testing and AI video generation, and it has fewer native integrations than Navattic or Storylane. It also doesn't replicate Tourial's micro tour playlists or its workshop-led onboarding. See LiveDemo vs Tourial.
2. Arcade: for polished demos and AI-generated videos
Arcade is a self-serve tool known for polished demos and AI-generated product videos. Its free plan includes 1 published demo, Growth is $50/mo per seat ($42.50 billed yearly), and Enterprise is custom. HTML capture is Enterprise only, and Arcade doesn't offer an AI agent that guides buyers. It's a good fit for marketers who mostly produce branded videos and demos. See LiveDemo vs Arcade and our Arcade alternatives guide.
3. Storylane: for teams that need sandboxes and Hubs
Storylane is a full demo suite with sandbox demos, digital sales rooms (Hubs) and A/B testing. Its free plan allows 1 live demo, and Growth is $500/mo for 5 seats, which is where HTML demos start. RepX AI SDRs are priced separately from $2,000/mo. Unlike Tourial, Storylane publishes its prices. See LiveDemo vs Storylane and our Storylane alternatives guide.
4. Navattic: for marketing teams that want deep integrations
Navattic is built for demo-led marketing, the same audience Tourial targets, with a broad catalog of CRM and sales-tool integrations. The free Starter plan includes 1 seat and 1 demo. Paid plans are billed annually as seat bundles, with Base at 5 seats and Growth at 10. Navattic Agents are priced separately. See LiveDemo vs Navattic and our Navattic alternatives guide.
5. Supademo: for training and compliance-heavy teams
Supademo bills per creator: Free at $0, Scale at $50/mo ($38 annual), Business at $249/mo and Growth at $450/mo, with custom Enterprise pricing. Guided HTML demos start at $249/mo. It suits teams that need sandboxes and enterprise governance. Its AI Demo Agent is sold as a usage-based credit add-on. See LiveDemo vs Supademo.
6. HowdyGo: for large teams that want flat pricing
HowdyGo builds HTML interactive demos and sandboxes and charges a flat rate for unlimited users: Starter at $159/mo and Pro at $399/mo, with custom Enterprise pricing and 20% off annual billing. Like Tourial, it has no free plan, but there's a 14-day trial and the prices are public. See LiveDemo vs HowdyGo.
7. Walnut: for enterprise sales teams
If you chose Tourial for hands-on support and want a sales-led platform with more depth, Walnut is the closest step up. Ignite starts at $575/mo and Accelerate at $1,550/mo, both billed annually with seats plus an annual AI credit pool, and Scale is custom. See LiveDemo vs Walnut.

How to switch from Tourial
There's no standard export format between demo tools, so switching means re-capturing your tours. It's less work than it sounds.
- List your published tours and playlists and sort them by views. Most teams find that a few tours get most of the traffic.
- Rebuild the top tour first. Re-capture the flow with the new tool's extension or desktop app and copy your step text across. A 5 to 7 step demo takes 10 to 20 minutes.
- Recreate the call to action and any lead capture form, and reconnect your CRM if the new tool supports it on your plan.
- Swap the embed code on your website, then repeat for the next tour.
- Keep Tourial running until the new embeds are live, so no page shows a broken demo, and check your contract's renewal date before you cancel.
If you're moving to LiveDemo, the step-by-step demo builder guide covers capture and editing with screenshots.
