Persona
The Persona tab decides how the agent greets visitors and how it talks. Click Save persona when you're done ("Persona saved").
Welcome message
The first message visitors see. Say who the agent is and what it can do in one or two sentences:
Hi! I'm Ava, Acme's product guide. Ask me anything, or I can show you how Acme automates your invoicing.
Starter questions (up to 4)
One-click questions under the welcome message. Click Add question to add one. Use the questions your sales team hears most:
- "How does pricing work?"
- "Does it integrate with Salesforce?"
- "Show me the dashboard"
- "How is this different from X?"
Page rules can show different starter questions per page.
Extra system prompt
Extra instructions on top of LiveDemo's built-in ones. Good uses:
- Tone: "Be concise and friendly. No jargon."
- Focus: "Our main audience is finance teams at mid-size companies."
- Limits: "Don't discuss discounts. Send pricing questions for over 100 seats to sales."
- Positioning: "When asked about competitors, focus on our strengths. Don't criticize them."
Facts belong in Knowledge, not here. The agent answers only from your knowledge.
