Popup buttons & effects

Buttons turn a popup into a call to action: "Book a demo", "Start free trial" or "Show me the reports".

Add a button

  1. Select a popup step (Popup Type popup or form).
  2. Under Buttons, click Add button.
  3. Click the button to expand it and set:
SettingOptions
LabelThe button text (starts as "Button")
Color Text / Color BackgroundAny color
Go tonext (default), screen or website
Effectnone, progress, glow, ripple, spinner or pulse

Delete a button with its trash icon.

Go to options

  • next: the next step.
  • screen: any screen in the demo. Use it for "choose your path" menus, see Branching.
  • website: opens a URL, such as your signup page or booking link.

A good final call to action

  1. Add a popup as the last step.
  2. Title: the outcome ("Ready to automate your reporting?").
  3. Two buttons: a primary website button ("Start free trial") with a pulse or glow effect, and a secondary one ("Book a demo").
  4. Turn on Celebrate completion in Misc settings for confetti.

Track completion and drop-off in Analytics.
