Screenshots + Video Recording
The default capture type. LiveDemo takes a screenshot on every click and records a video of the tab, so you get both still screens and motion.
Record
- Open the page where your workflow starts.
- Open the LiveDemo extension. The Name is prefilled with the tab title. Change it if you like.
- Keep Type on Screenshots + Video Recording and click Start recording.
- Click through the workflow. The extension icon shows a red badge with the number of clicks captured.
- To stop, click the LiveDemo icon again. The demo opens in a new tab.
What you get
- One screenshot screen per click, with a pointer step where you clicked.
- A video screen of the recording, which you can speed up and zoom. See Video screens.
Delete the screens you don't need in the Screens tab.
When to pick it
- You know exactly which flow to show.
- The app has animations, charts or loading states that only a video shows well.
Need to change text or images after capture? Use an HTML Demo instead.
Tips
- Recordings have no sound. Add a voiceover afterwards.
- See Recording tips before you start.
