Create a demo from a URL
The fastest way to see LiveDemo on your own product: enter a public website and LiveDemo builds a demo from it.
Generate
- During onboarding, click Create your first Live Demo. In How recording works, enter your site in the Demo field, such as
https://yourwebsite.com. - LiveDemo shows Creating your demo..., then the preview while it's generated.
- Click Edit to open it in the editor. If you're not signed in, you'll be asked to create a free account first.
The URL must be a public https:// address. Pages behind a login can't be read. Capture those with the Chrome extension instead.
What you get
A starting demo of your public site that you can edit like any other: change the text, add popups and a call to action, then share it.
For a demo of your actual product, record it with the Chrome extension.
